Backup & Restore6

The Backup & Restore feature on FPT Database Engine protects data against accidental deletion, corruption and system failures. It supports automatic backups, restoration from backup files, and Point-in-Time Recovery (PITR) for supported engines (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MariaDB). Backups are stored on isolated dedicated storage for durability. Use the guides below to manage the backup service, manage backup jobs, enable or disable PITR, restore a cluster, and push backup data to S3.

Managing the backup serviceThis section guides users through the detailed steps for managing the Backup service, including enabling, adjusting, and canceling the service.Managing backup jobsThis section guides users through the detailed steps for managing backup jobs, including creating Full Backup jobs, Differential Backup jobs, running, updating, and deleting backup jobs.Enabling/disabling PITRThe Point-in-Time Recovery (PITR) feature allows users to restore a database to a specific point in time in the past, ensuring data continuity and reliability.Restoring a databaseThe Restore and Point-in-Time Recovery (PITR) features allow users to recover a database from backups or restore it to a specific point in time.Pushing backup data to S3The Push backup data to S3 feature allows users to push database backup files to a compatible S3 storage, for purposes such as long-term storage, off-site backup, or external data consumption.Connect to Redis ReplicationThis section describes how client applications connect to a Redis Replication cluster.
