Access a GPU Container
Once a GPU Container is in Running status, you can connect to it using the ports you configured at creation time.
HTTP endpoint
If you added HTTP ports when creating the container:
- In the left sidebar, click FPT GPU Cloud → GPU Container.
- Click the container name to open the detail page.
- Under Access, find the public HTTPS URL for your HTTP port.
- Open the URL in a browser or send requests to it from your application.
The URL is available as long as the container is running.
SSH terminal
If you added TCP port 22 when creating the container:
- On the container detail page, find the SSH connection details (hostname and port).
- Connect using an SSH client:
ssh -p <port> <username>@<hostname>
Replace <username> with the value of the USERNAME environment variable you set at creation time.
note
If you did not set a USERNAME or PASSWORD environment variable, check the template documentation for the default credentials.
TCP ports
For any other TCP port you exposed:
- On the container detail page, find the host and port mapping for your TCP port.
- Use the hostname and mapped port number directly with your application or client.
Troubleshooting
| Symptom | Likely cause | Action |
|---|---|---|
| URL not reachable | Container still starting | Wait for status to change to Running |
| Connection refused on HTTP port | Application inside container not listening yet | Check container logs or wait for the service to start |
| SSH connection refused | Port 22 not added at creation | Ports cannot be added after creation — recreate the container with port 22 |
