Overview
The Reports tab contains two main parts:
- Backup Report: view the Usage Report or Sessions Report for the VPCs you can access.
- Scheduled Reports: manage reports that the system exports and emails automatically on a schedule.
Prerequisites
- The tenant has Backup Instance by Veeam service activated.
- The user is logged in to the Unify Portal.
- The user has permission to view reports or manage scheduled reports.
- The user has permission to access the VPC whose report data is to be viewed.
Backup Report
Purpose
View the Usage Report or Sessions Report of backed-up instances within the VPCs the user has access to, for the current tenant and region.
Steps
- Open the Reports tab.
- Choose the report type: Usage Report or Sessions Report.
- Click Filter to open the filter popup.
- Set the filter values for the chosen report type.
- Click Generate Report.
- The portal shows the report data based on the selected filter.
- Click Export to Excel to download the full result if needed.

The Sessions Report date range must not exceed 3 months, and neither date can be in the future.
Usage Report columns

Sessions Report columns

Notes
- Default pagination is 25 rows per page; the Usage Report paginates by instance and the Sessions Report paginates by job group.
- The report does not auto-refresh; click Generate Report again to load fresh data.
- Report data is cleared when you leave the Backup & Recovery tab and return; generate it again.
- The Usage Report still shows a deleted backup job's data if restore points or backup data still exist. In the Sessions Report, a deleted job's name is shown with strikethrough.
- Export to Excel downloads the full dataset for the current filter, not only the current page.
Scheduled Reports
Purpose
Manage reports that the system exports and emails automatically on a schedule.

The Scheduled Reports list does not support filter or search.
Create a scheduled report
Steps
- In the Scheduled Reports section, click Add Scheduled Report.
- The portal opens the Create Scheduled Report popup.
- Enter Name.
- Enter Email Address.
- Pick Report Type.
- If Report Type is Sessions Report, pick Session Period.
- Pick Schedule Type.
- Pick Day based on the Schedule Type.
- Click Create.
Fields

Notes
- The maximum number of scheduled reports is 3.
- Scheduled reports run at 00:00 (GMT+7).
- For a Monthly schedule, if the chosen day does not exist in a month, the report is sent on the last day of that month.
- The report covers all VPCs the user can access; the VPC list is refreshed automatically at send time.
Update a scheduled report
Steps
- On the report to update, click the Edit action.
- The portal opens the update popup, pre-filled with the current configuration.
- Name, Report Type, Session Period, Schedule Type, and Day are shown as disabled.
- Update Email Address.
- Click Update.
Notes
- Only the Email Address can be updated.
- Name, Report Type, Session Period, Schedule Type, and Day cannot be edited.
- Updating a Disabled report does not re-enable it.
Enable or disable a scheduled report
Disable
- On an Active report, click the Disable action.
- Read the confirmation popup.
- Confirm the action.
- The report moves to Disabled.
Enable
- On a Disabled report, click the Enable action.
- Read the confirmation popup.
- Confirm the action.
- The report moves to Active.
Result
- The scheduler does not send emails for a Disabled report; its configuration is kept.
- Enabling a report resumes delivery from the next scheduled run.
- Only Active reports can be disabled and only Disabled reports can be enabled.
Delete a scheduled report
Steps
- On the report to delete, click the Delete action.
- Read the confirmation popup.
- Confirm the action.
- The report is removed from the list.
Result
- The scheduled report is no longer shown in the list.
- The scheduler stops sending report emails from the deleted report.
Common errors
