Guide: Analyze Costs with Cost Explorer
This guide describes how to use Cost Explorer to visualize and analyze spending on FPT Cloud over time.
Open Cost Explorer

From the left navigation bar, select Billing → Cost Explorer.
The Cost Explorer page displays a cost chart and a details table.

The page consists of two main sections:
| Section | Description |
|---|---|
| Cost graphic | A chart that visualizes cost trends over time. |
| Details | A detailed cost breakdown by service for the selected time range. |
- The Details table includes the following columns:
| Column | Description |
|---|---|
| Service Name | The name of the service generating the cost. |
| Unit | Unit of measurement (e.g., hours, GB). |
| Quantity | Usage quantity. |
| Amount (VND) | Total amount (VND). |
Filter and Analyze Costs

Click Filtered on the Cost Explorer page.
The filter panel opens on the right.

Configure the filter criteria:
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Start date | The start date of the time range to analyze. |
| End date | The end date of the time range to analyze. |
| Period type | The time unit displayed on the chart (e.g., Daily, Monthly). |
| Dimension | The data analysis dimension: Service, Project, VPC, or Tag. |
| Service | Filter by specific service (Compute, Storage, Network, etc.). |
| Project | Filter by project. |
| VPC | Filter by VPC. |
| Tag | Filter by tags assigned to resources. |
- Click Show result to apply the filters.
- Click Clear filters to remove all selected conditions.
Download Cost Data
Click Download on the Cost Explorer page to download a cost report based on the current filters.
