Reporting

Reports summarize backup activity over a period you choose, for operational review and internal audit, and backup activity is currently the only report type. Export one when you need it or let the system send it on a schedule, exactly as on every other engine FPT Database Engine manages.

The full procedures are documented once, for every engine:

• View reports — filtering a report, previewing it, and exporting the CSV.
• Configure report schedule — creating a schedule and managing the ones you already have.

Manual export

• The report covers backup activity, so it stays empty until a backup job has run at least once.
• You pick the period and the clusters to filter on. The period reaches back at most 90 days from now.
• The output is a CSV file, previewed on screen before you download it.

Scheduled delivery

• Schedules live under Database platform → Advanced features → Reporting, not on the cluster itself.
• Each schedule carries a name, report type, data period, frequency, send time, target clusters, and recipient email addresses.
• Delivery is by email only. The attachment is the same CSV the manual export produces.
• Creating and managing a schedule needs the manageDatabase:ReportConfig (Edit) permission. See Configure IAM permissions.
