Create a Vault Instance

A Vault Instance is the basic unit of FPT Key Vault — it holds all your Secret Engines, Secrets, and security configuration. Create a Vault Instance before performing any Secret management operations.

Prerequisites​

  • You completed Initial setup — you have an FPT Cloud account and Portal access.

1. Start creating a Vault Instance​

In the menu, select Security > Key Vault > Create.

2. Enter the Vault Instance details​

Enter the required information on the Create Key Vault screen.

3. Confirm creation​

Click Create. The system checks resources, sends a confirmation message, and creates the new Vault Instance from the information you entered.
