7.4. Monitoring Database integration guide

Monitoring in FPT Database Engine is integrated with the FPT Cloud Monitoring system to collect metrics and logs and to provide dashboards and alerts as needed. This guide summarizes the Monitoring integration flow for database clusters on FPT Cloud Portal.

What this guide covers​

The detailed guide walks through:

  • Step 1. Access the feature — open the Monitoring tab on the database cluster detail page and review the list of supported metrics and logs.
  • Step 2. Integrate / Disintegrate — enable or disable metrics/logs collection for each cluster.
  • Step 3. Access the Grafana dashboard — view the collected charts and logs on the dashboard.

Prerequisites​

  • FPT Cloud Monitoring service has been activated and a Workspace has been created.
  • Your account has access to the database cluster you want to integrate.
