View activity log and task status

FPT Cloud Portal provides two tools that help you track everything happening on a VPC: the Activity log records the history of actions performed, while Bell - Recent task displays the real-time status of tasks currently being processed.

Activity log

All actions performed on a VPC (create, update, delete, rename, attach/detach resources, etc.) are fully recorded in the Activity log. You can open this list at any time to review the action history for auditing and troubleshooting.

The Activity log shows:

  • The action that was performed (Action).
  • When it occurred (Time).
  • The user account that performed it (User).
  • The result status (Status).

Bell - Recent task

In addition to the Activity log, VPC tasks are also recorded under the Bell - Recent task icon in the top navigation bar. Here you can monitor the progress of tasks being processed by the system in real time.

Bell - Recent task displays:

  • The name of the running task.
  • The status: in progress, completed, or failed.
  • The time the task was initiated.

Notes

  • Both the Activity log and Bell - Recent task help you quickly understand the state of your VPC resources and detect anomalies early.
  • When a task fails, open the Activity log for details and contact support if further help is needed.
