Tagging a Load Balancer
Tags are labels you attach to a Load Balancer to help organise, search, and filter your resources — for example by environment, team, or project. You can assign tags when creating a Load Balancer, manage them on an existing one, and filter the Load Balancer list by tag.
Assign tags when creating a Load Balancer
In Step 1 — Basic Information of the Create Load Balancer wizard, use the Tags field to select the tags to apply to the new Load Balancer.

The rest of the creation flow is unchanged — see Create a Load Balancer.
Add or remove tags on an existing Load Balancer
Step 1: In the Load Balancer list, open the Action menu (⋮) of the Load Balancer and select Manage tags.
Step 2: In the Manage tags dialog, edit the Tags field:
- Add a tag: select a tag from the Tags dropdown.
- Remove a tag: click the × on a selected tag to remove it.

Step 3: Click Save to apply the changes, or Cancel to discard.
Display and filter the list by tags
The Load Balancer list has a Tags column showing the tags applied to each Load Balancer. When a Load Balancer has more than one tag, the extra tags are collapsed into a +N indicator.
To filter the list by tag, click Filter, choose one or more values in the Tags dropdown, then click Show results.
