# 2. Filter VPC Activity Log

**Step 1:** On **VPC Activity Logs**, select **Filters.**

**Step 2:** User can filters activity log based on: 

* **User**: Search by specific user email address.
* **Item name**: Filter, search for specific resource name. 
* **Type**: Filter resource type .By default, set at "All". It's recommended to leave at 'All" unless user know what type of specific resource to search for.

After entering filters, select **Show** to confirm.  To remove filter, select **Discard**.
