# 3. Change rules & settings of load balancer

### **3.1. Change load balancer name**

**Step 1:** Select **Load Balancer** on the main menu > On **Load Balancer** page, click on the **load balancer name.** Users will be redirected to **Load Balancer details**.

**Step 2:** Click on the icon next to the name of the load balancer. A new dialog box will appear.

**Step 3:** Change the name > Select **Save**.

### 3.2. Change load balancer size

* Users can only change the size that users have registered to use.
* Load balancer resizing is not supported on OpenStack Platform.

**Step 1:** Select **Load Balancer** on the main menu > On **Load Balancer** page, click on **Load balancer** name. Users will be redirected to **Load Balancer details**.

**Step 2:** Select **Edit load balancer** > **Resize**. A new dialog box will appear.

**Step 3:** Select the size to change > Select **Save**.

### 3.3. Change load balancer settings

**Step 1:** Select **Load Balancer** on the main menu > On **Load Balancer** page, click on \
**Load balancer** nam&#x65;**.** Users will be redirected to **Load Balancer details**.

**Step 2:** Select **Edit load balancer** > **Update Settings**. A new dialog box will appear.

**Step 3:** Change the Rule and Settings of the load balancer > Select **Update settings.**
