Quick Start
This page provides a quick overview of the FPT Lakehouse workflow by role.
For Administrators
Admins are responsible for creating and operating the Lakehouse on FPT Cloud.
Step 1 — Create the Lakehouse
Create a Lakehouse and configure the required details: package, subnet, access mode, SSO, and S3 bucket.
→ See guide: Create Lakehouse
Step 2 — Wait for Completed
Monitor progress through 4 stages: Initializing → Preparing infrastructure → Setting up your Lakehouse → Completed
→ See guide: View Lakehouse Information
Step 3 — Access the Lakehouse Portal
Once Completed, copy the Lakehouse URL from the detail screen and log in with the Bootstrap administrator account configured during setup.
Step 4 — Grant Access to DE/DA
In the Lakehouse Portal, go to Access Management to add accounts and assign roles to team members.
Step 5 — Share the Lakehouse URL
Share the Lakehouse URL with DE/DA team members so they can log in and start using the platform.
For Data Engineers / Data Analysts
DE/DA users work within the Lakehouse after the Admin has completed setup and granted access.
Step 1 — Log in to the Lakehouse Portal
Access the Lakehouse URL provided by your Admin and log in via SSO (FPT.ID or Google, depending on your Lakehouse configuration).
Step 2 — Explore Data with Data Explorer
Browse available catalogs, databases, and tables in the system.
→ See guide: Using Lakehouse
Step 3 — Query Data with SQL Editor
Write and execute SQL queries directly within the Lakehouse Portal.
