Manage tags for a database cluster

Overview

The Manage tags feature allows you to assign or remove tags for a database cluster. Tags help organize and classify database resources for management and filtering purposes.

Note:

Tags are managed at the cluster level. When tags are added or removed, the change is automatically applied to:

  • The selected cluster
  • All nodes that belong to the cluster

Prerequisites

Before performing this task, ensure that:

  • You have permission to manage the database cluster.
  • The cluster has been created successfully.
  • The required tags have already been created in the Tagging service.

Open the Manage tags dialog

  1. From the main menu, select Database PlatformAll Database.
  2. Locate the target cluster and click the Actions (⋮) icon in the Action column. The list of available actions is displayed.
  3. Select Manage tags. The Manage tags dialog is displayed.

The screen contains the following fields:

  2. Click the Tags field and remove one or more selected tags.
  3. Click Save.

  • Tag changes take effect immediately after the operation succeeds.
  • Individual nodes cannot be tagged independently. Tags are always synchronized from the cluster.
