New User to Portal

FPT AI Factory Portal is a cloud platform for provisioning and managing AI/ML infrastructure — AI Notebooks, GPU Containers, and related resources — within a governed, cost-visible environment.

This page walks a brand new user through everything from first login to running their first resource.

What you get on sign-up

When your account is first created, the portal automatically sets up:

WhatDetails
Default OrganizationOne Organization is created for you. You are the Organization Owner.
Default WorkspaceOne Workspace is created inside that Organization. It is ready to use immediately.
Empty WalletYour Organization Wallet starts at zero. You must top up before creating any paid resource.

You can rename the default Organization and Workspace at any time. You cannot delete them until you have created replacements.

Step 1 — Complete the onboarding survey

When you log in for the first time, the portal shows a short survey (Role, use case, team size). This takes under 30 seconds and helps personalize your dashboard. Complete it to proceed.

After the survey, you land on the Organization overview.

Step 2 — Set the billing currency

cảnh báo

The billing currency is locked permanently once set. All credits, top-ups, and invoices will use this currency. Set it before doing anything else.

  1. In the left sidebar, click BillingBilling settings.
  2. Select your preferred currency.
  3. Confirm.

See Organization for full details.

Step 3 — Top up your Wallet

Resources cannot be created until your Organization Wallet has a positive balance.

  1. In the left sidebar, click BillingTop Up.
  2. Enter an amount and complete the payment.

The Wallet balance is shared across all Workspaces in your Organization. Each Workspace draws from this balance up to its Quota limit.

See Top Up for full details.

Step 4 — Review services in your Workspace

All services are enabled by default in a new Workspace. Disable any services your team does not need.

  1. Click SettingsWorkspaces.
  2. Click Edit on your default Workspace.
  3. In the Services section, toggle off any services you do not want Members to access.
  4. Click Finish.

Disabled services are hidden from Members entirely — they will not appear in the sidebar.

Step 5 — Create your first resource

Your setup is complete. You can now create:

  • AI Notebook — a JupyterLab environment on dedicated GPU hardware.
  • GPU Container — a containerized workload for custom GPU environments.
