FPT AI Factory Portal

FPT AI Factory Portal is a cloud platform for provisioning and managing AI/ML infrastructure — AI Notebooks, GPU Containers, and related resources — within a governed, cost-visible environment.

What the portal gives you

  • One Organization — the top-level container that owns all Workspaces, billing, and Members. Access is governed by Roles — each Role has a clearly defined scope.
  • Multiple Workspaces — isolated environments for teams or projects, each with its own resources, Quota, and Policies.
  • One Workspace, multiple Services — each Workspace can run AI Notebook, GPU Container, and more simultaneously, each independently enabled and region-scoped.

The portal is structured around a single Organization that contains one or more Workspaces. Each Workspace operates independently with its own Services, spending limits, and access controls, while billing remains centralized under a shared Wallet at the Organization level. Administrators control what each team can access and how much they can spend, without requiring separate accounts per project or region.

Glossary

TermDefinition
ActionsOperations that can be permitted or denied by a Policy statement. Actions are Service-specific (e.g. notebook:create, notebook:stop). A statement can target all actions for a Service at once using All actions.
AI NotebookA managed JupyterLab environment backed by GPU hardware. Each AI Notebook is provisioned in a specific region and assigned a GPU flavor. Billing starts when the notebook reaches RUNNING status.
Audit LogA read-only record of all user and system events in the Organization. Organization Owners see the full Organization-level log; Workspace Admins see Workspace-scoped logs.
Billing currencyThe currency used for all payments, invoices, and credit balances in an Organization. Set during the first top-up and cannot be changed afterward. Supported: VND, USD, JPY.
Billing plansCredits from an active subscription plan purchased separately through FPT. Consumed before Voucher and top-up credits.
Budget QuotaSee Quota.
Creating (status)The status shown on an AI Notebook card while GPU hardware is being provisioned. Typical wait time is 3–10 minutes.
CreditsPrepaid balance purchased by the Organization Owner (via VNPAY-QR, Stripe, or PayPal). Credits are general-purpose, do not expire, and are non-refundable.
EffectThe outcome of a Policy statement — either Allow or Deny. Deny takes precedence over Allow when statements overlap.
Entitlement/QuotasThe label in the Workspace create/edit form for the Quota configuration section. See Quota.
GPU ContainerA containerized GPU compute environment supporting custom templates, HTTP/TCP ports, persistent disk, environment variables, and startup commands.
GPU FlavorThe specific GPU hardware type and quantity available in a region. Examples: H100 SXM5 (Hà Nội), H200 SXM5 (Tokyo). Flavors marked Out of stock are unavailable.
OrganizationThe top-level account entity in the portal. An Organization has a single Wallet, one Organization Owner, and any number of Workspaces.
Organization OwnerThe user who created the Organization. Exactly one per Organization. Has full control over Workspaces, billing, Policies, Quotas, and Member management. Role cannot be transferred through the portal.
Permission boundariesThe label in Workspace settings for the Policies section. Defines the maximum permissions a Workspace's Members can exercise. Policies are combined using OR logic.
PolicyA named set of statements defining what actions are allowed or denied for a specific Service and region. Created by the Organization Owner and attached to Workspaces.
Policy statementA single rule inside a Policy specifying a Service, region, effect (Allow or Deny), and a list of actions.
PROCESSINGThe status shown on a GPU Container while it is being provisioned — equivalent to Creating… for AI Notebooks.
QuotaA credit spending limit for a Workspace, in USD per day or per month. At 100%, new resource creation is blocked. Resets at 00:00 UTC+0 on the first day of each period.
Re-CreateAn action on AI Notebook cards that deletes the existing notebook and provisions a new one with the same configuration.
RUNNINGThe status indicating a GPU resource is active and consuming credits.
ScopeA classification in Audit Logs grouping events by area: Organization, Billing, Workspace, or Service.
ServiceA GPU-backed product in the portal: AI Notebook, GPU Container, or AI Inference. Must be explicitly enabled per Workspace before Members can see or use it.
STOPPEDThe status of a GPU resource that has been explicitly stopped. GPU billing ceases; persistent storage continues at a lower rate.
Top-upA direct credit purchase through the portal by the Organization Owner. Payment methods: VNPAY-QR, Stripe, PayPal.
VoucherPromotional credits provided by FPT. Added via a Voucher code. Vouchers expire automatically and may be scoped to a specific Service.
WalletThe Organization-level credit balance shared across all Workspaces. Three balance lines: Top-up, Voucher, and Billing plans — consumed in that order.
WorkspaceAn isolated environment within an Organization for a team or project. Each Workspace has its own Services, Quota, Policies, and Member list.
Workspace AdminA Role assigned to a specific Workspace. Can manage resources, invite Members, apply Policies to their own Workspace, and set Quota. Cannot access billing settings or create new Policies.
Workspace MemberA Role for creating and managing GPU resources within a Workspace. Cannot see Settings, manage other Members, or access billing.
