2. On-demand manual scale

Requirements (Can be ignored if VPC is already available):

1. Create Autoscale Group

Step 1: Go to Autoscale Group page.

Case 1: Scale in

Step 2: In Actions section, select Scale in.

Step 3: A new dialog box will appear, users configure the following information:

• Count: The number of nodes to be reduced. This cannot be less than the Min size of the group (Default: 0).

Step 4: Select Scale in.

The system will check the information and perform resizing group if valid. After the action is successfully done, the Status will change to Active.

Case 2: Scale out

Step 2: In Actions section, select Scale out.

Step 3: A new dialog box will appear, users configure the following information:

• Count: The number of nodes to be increased. This number cannot be more than the Max size of the group (Default: 10).

Step 4: Select Scale out.

The system will check the information and perform resizing group if valid. After the action is successfully done, the Status will change to Active.
