# 4. Detach Autoscale Policy

**Step 1:** Go to **Autoscaling** page > **Autoscale Group** > Select a group you want to detach policy.

**Step 2:** On selected **Autoscale Group** page, select **Policy** tab.

**Step 3:** In **Actions** section, select **Detach**.

**Step 4:** A dialog box will appear. Select **Detach**.
