By default, although a created virtual machine can reach the external network, it will block all connections from outside. Users need to set up firewall rules and open ports to be able to use the instance more conveniently, in accordance with their needs. Users need to configure additional firewall rules to allow SSH and RDP connections from outside.
Step 1: Create an instance with floating IP.
Step 2: Create a new Security Group or use an existing Security Group.
Step 3: In Firewall rules section of Security Group, add rules for SSH, RDP protocols. In Source, choose ALL or enter each IP if the user wishes to control what IP can remotely be entered into the machine.
Step 4: In Applied instances section of Security group, users need to select more instances that want to be used remote desktop and add to this Security Group > Select Save.
Now the instance has been configured for remote desktop, users can connect to the instance with Floating IP parameters, username/password information or use the previously declared SSH Key.
