# 1. Create new role and assign permission

**Step  1:** On menu, select **IAM** > **Roles**. 

**Step 2:** Select **Create role**, configure new role with following information:

* **Name:** Role name (must be unique between all role).
* **Description:** Description for this role.
* **Permissions:** Permission list that can be assigned for this role, based on objects available on current VPC (compute, storage, networking...)

**Step 3:** Select **Create** to confirm and create new Role
