# 5. Delete Autoscale Policy

* If the policy is still attached in certain group, it cannot be deleted until that policy is detached.
* This action is irreversible.

**Step 1:** Go to **Autoscaling** page > **Autoscale Policy**.

**Step 2:** In **Actions** section of the policy you want to delete, select **Delete.**

**Step 3:** A new dialog box will appear. Select **Delete**.
