7. Restore instance from snapshot

Note: This only applies to instances that have successfully created snapshots. Please check if the necessary instance has a snapshot.

Step 1: On Instance Management page, in Actions section, select Snapshot > Restore from snapshot. An new dialog box will appear.

Step 2: Select Restore.

If users confirm to restore, the system will check snapshot data and process. It normally takes about 30 minutes, depending on the current model and data of instance. The virtual machine will be turned off and users cannot action until the process is complete. Users will be notified when the process has been completed and the virtual machine is turned back on.
