# 10. Configure floating IP

**Step 1:** Go to **Instance details** page by selecting the corresponding instance name on **Instance Management** page.

**Step 2:** In **Public IP**, select **Manage IP**. Users will be redirected to the **Floating IP Management** page to check the details of the IP Floating in use and the instances that are using Floating IP.

**Step 3:** Configure Floating IP:

* **Get new Floating IP:** Select **Allocate IP,** a dialog box will open. Users need to select the right instance to configure.
* **Use existing Floating IP:** Find on the admin table an empty floating IP (not assigned to any instance), select **Action** > **Connect to instance**.

Users will be notified when the IP floating configuration process is complete.
