5. Changing K8s cluster configuration.

5.1. Scale worker nodes

Step 1: From Menu select Kubernetes > select Cluster you want to scale worker nodes.

Step 2: At the Worker Config section > Select Scale Cluster icon

Step 3: The Scale Kubernetes Cluster screen appears. The user enters the required information fields.

  • Type: Select Scale up or Scale down

  • Quantity: Enter the number of worker nodes you want to add/remove.

After entering, The number of worker nodes after scaling will be displayed on the line “ Quantity worker after scale up/ down equals”.

Step 4: Check the information again, Select Scale Cluster to scale worker nodes or cancel to cancel the task. The Scale Cluster process will be executed, during execution user can not edit Cluster until The process is successful.

5.2. Change Flavor nodes

Step 1: From Menu select Kubernetes > select Cluster you want to make changes to the node configuration.

Step 2: At the Cluster Details screen section, the user can change the flavor ( RAM, CPU) of Master Nodes, Worker Nodes, and NFS server by selecting the corresponding configuration change icon.

Step 3:After selecting the desired configuration > Select Change to make configuration changes

5.3. Increase Storage size of Nodes & NFS Server.

Step 1: From the Menu select Kubernetes > Select the cluster you want to change the storage configuration.

Step 2: At the cluster details screen, the user can change the storage size of master nodes, worker nodes, and NFS server by selecting the corresponding configuration change icon.

Step 3: Enter the capacity to increase > select Extend to increase the storage capacity.

Note: The system does not support reducing Storage size.

5.4. Upgrade K8s version

Step 1: From Menu select Kubernetes > Select Cluster you want to scale worker nodes.

Step 2: At Info Common > select the Upgrade Version icon.

Step 3: The upgrade cluster version screen appears, and the user selects the version which you want to upgrade > select Upgrade to upgrade version.

Note: Only perform upgrade version, not downgrade version.

5.5. Add NFS Persistent Storage

Step 1: From Menu select Kubernetes > select Cluster you want to enable NFS President Storage. Step 2: At the NFS Storage section > select the enable NFS icon

Step 3: The deploy NFS Storage screen appears. The user enters the desired amount of NFS Storage (GB) and rechecks the information > Select Deploy NFS to deploy.

The Deploy NFS process will execute, while doing so the user cannot edit the Cluster until the process is complete
