# 4. Delete load balancer

* This action is irreversible.
* Removing the load balancer does not affect the associated instances. Users can delete the instance separately.

**Step 1:** Sign in > Select **Load Balancer** on the main menu.

**Step 2:** On **Load Balancer** page, in **Actions** section of the load balancer you want to delete, select **Delete**. A new dialog box will appear.

**Step 3:** Select **Delete** to confirm. The system will delete the load balancer, canceling the link of the load balancer to the instance and IP.
