5. Remove instance from security group

Note: This action will remove the instance that is affected by the security group and change it back to the default settings.

Step 1: Go to a Security group.

Step 2: In Apply to section, find the instance that is currently in the group. Select X icon at the end of each instance name to delete the instance > Select Save.

The system will proceed to remove the instance. The instance that has been removed will return to the default firewall settings.
