# 2. Delete access key

{% hint style="danger" %} <mark style="color:red;">**Note:**</mark> This action is irreversible. S3 clients that use the deleted access key will be unable to work and need users to create a new access key.

**Step 1:** In **Access Key** tab, in the **Actions** section of the corresponding access key, select **Delete**.

**Step 2:** A new dialog box will appear, select **Delete** and the system will start deleting access key.
