2. Create Alert for Autoscaling Group

Step 1: Sign in to FPT Cloud Portal

Step 2: Go to Cloud Guard page > Alert > Select Alerts tab.

Step 3: Select Create Alert to open New alert dialog box.

Step 4: Users configure fields of information as following:

Field	Description
Type	Select Auto Scaling
Name	Enter alert name
Applied to	Select Autoscaling Group to which alert is applied
Configure metrics	Customize alert threshold including: Type (Metric Type): Select the type of data you want to use to set the alarm threshold (RAM (%), CPU (%)) Operator: Select the type that compares the actual value to the threshold, including the operators <, <=, >=, >. Value: Enter alert threshold. The value will be validated depending on the units of the Metric Types. Alert Interval: Select the calculation cycle of the system (3 minutes, 5 minutes, 30 minutes, 1 hour, 6 hours, 1 day)
Notified to	Select recipients to send alert from the list
Action	Select Action when there is an Alert, including: Scale In: The system sends a combined notification that performs Scale In to that Autoscaling Group. Scale Out: The system sends a combined notification that performs Scale Out to that Autoscaling Group None: The system only sends notification.

Note:

• Alert names in one tenant must be different.

• Servers whose status are off can also be selected, please check the status of the server before selecting.

Step 5: Select Create.
